Food and Beverage Manager

Quickhire Recruitment is always on the lookout for professional and experienced Food & Beverage Managers to work at high profile establishments and events across Edinburgh, Glasgow, elsewhere in the Central-Belt and throughout Scotland. As Food & Beverage Manager you will be expected to oversee all aspects of the Food and Beverage operation whether in a hotel or other outlet where these is a high revenue turnover.

This includes leading the managers of the different departments within the kitchen, restaurants, bars, lobby lounge service, room service and functions. You will be responsible for budgeting and cost control in conjunction with the Executive Chef and Managers of each department. You should be passionate about the Hospitality industry, a problem solver with exceptionally high standards and be able to take control and earn the respect of the team around you to ensure the success of your establishment.

Basic requirements from QHR

We require that all staff can demonstrate the following:

  • The ability to demonstrate experience of Food & Beverage Management within a busy hotel or other high volume food and drink outlet

  • Copies of relevant qualifications

  • Formal photographic identification (with visa details if applicable), ID card or passport

  • Proof of National Insurance Number

  • Very good communication skills

  • CV identifying relevant work experience and references

  • The ability to work in a team and be flexible with your skills
