The Receptionist is usually the first person a potential Hotel guest meets upon entering the premises. A great Receptionist will be friendly, professional, efficient and welcoming and will portray the ideals of the establishment by the way he or she presents themselves.

Quickhire Recruitment is always on the lookout for experienced and non-experienced Receptionists to work at high profile establishments across Edinburgh, Glasgow, elsewhere in the Central-Belt and throughout Scotland.

Basic requirements from QHR

We require that all staff can demonstrate the following:

  • The ability to demonstrate experience of working on reception within a busy hotel or other high volume establishment. If you do not currently have experience then you need to demonstrate why you believe you have what it takes to be successful in this role and be willing to learn

  • Formal photographic identification (with visa details if applicable), ID card or passport

  • Proof of National Insurance Number

  • Very good communication skills

  • CV identifying relevant work experience and references

  • The ability to work in a team and be flexible with your skills
